Support native communities

Tar sand developments pose a serious threat to the traditional way of life of First Nations (Canadian native communities), such as the Beaver Lake Cree Nation.

Native communities' traditional lands are being degraded by the large scale deforestation and pollution arising from tar sand developments. As a result, the animals, fish, plants and medicines that sustain these communities are being destroyed.

Our donation will support native communities to fund a legal challenge to enforce a First Nation's right to protect their traditional lands and unique way of life.
