About our campaigns
Our campaigns put our ethics into action, and as a customer you make a big difference.

Since 1994, we've been campaigning with our customers on a range of important issues, from landmines to safer chemicals, climate change to trade justice. Each campaign addresses a different theme or issue, which links to our Ethical Policy, Ethical Engagement Policy and our customers' concerns.

The Co-operative, our parent business, also campaigns on a range of issues, including climate change and bees. You can get involved with these campaigns too:
- Plan Bee - campaign and 10-point plan to address the worrying decline of bees in the UK. Find out more about the issue and how you can make your garden more bee-friendly.
- Burma VJ - In 2009, The Co-operative supported the cinema release of 'Burma VJ', a stunning documentary using footage taken by brave 'video journalists' which allowed the world to see the real story of the 2007 uprising and subsequent repression by the Burmese military regime. The Co-operative's Free the VJs campaign is petitioning to free those who courageously demonstrated in, and filmed, the 2007 protests.
